Biography
James E. Baumgartner, MD is a board-certified pediatric neurosurgeon who specializes in traditional and minimally invasive surgical procedures for children and adolescents who are suffering from epilepsy or seizure-related disorders. He has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, abstracts and book chapters, as well as presented nationally and internationally. Dr. Baumgartner has earned a reputation in his field for his surgical skill and positive patient outcomes. Working closely with the rest of the team in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, his goal is to relieve the severity of symptoms and increase the accuracy and success of seizure-related procedures.
